85 Livingston Street #5L | Downtown Brooklyn | In-Contract

Co-op | $600,000 | 631 sqft

When I tell you this is a gem, trust and believe, its a gem!

Backstory - I lived on this block for 11 years! My building was diagonally across the street from 85 Livingston - in the course of those 11 year, I’ve seen listings come and go, but nothing as well appointed (and renovated) as unit 5L. Side note, the co-op board also updated their lobby, that housed a sofa set which was upholstered with fabric from my mother’s 1980’s curtains. But, all of that is now gone, and the modernity of this unit is also reflected in buildings common spaces - its a nice fresh feeling walking into that building. That refresh adds to the gemlike value of this updated coop unit. Additionally, what’s compelling is the fact that the building is located right at the Downtown Brooklyn / Brooklyn Heights border, a block from the main transportation hub, Borough Hall, off of Court Street!!

The unit is impeccably gut renovated with every square inch properly used - (marble countertops, Bosch appliances, heated bathroom floors, etc) But the piece de resistance, for us storage cramped New Yorkers is…. there’s TONS OF CLOSETS and perfectly placed storage cabinets, excellently designed by the architect.
